Tweak Tool master has recently been updated to look a bit more like the Design mockup. Here's a few suggestions or comments for updating the mockup…
Appearance
- Make "Applications" and "Icons" singular (Cursor is singular)
- I kept "Shell" instead of "System"
Desktop
- Background says "Image File" but Lock Screen says "Image". I just used "Image" for both for now
Fonts
- Change "Documents" to "Document" for more parallelism with "Window Title"
Keyboard & Mouse
-
gnome-control-center uses "Input Sources" instead of "Input Methods"
-
These settings have been added:
- Acceleration Profile → Adaptive, Default, or Flat
And appearing under a Touchpad header…
- Click Method → Default, Areas, Fingers, or None
- Add switch for https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/GtkSettings.html#GtkSettings--gtk-primary-button-warps-slider
Top Bar
-
Make "Application Menus" singular
-
Add switch for gsettings org.gnome.desktop.interface show-battery-percentage
Windows
-
Below Minimize, I added this toggle (useful for those who prefer switching to a classic Ubuntu look or to classic GNOME 3): Placement → Left/Right
-
This has been in Tweak Tool for a few years: Window Action Key → Alt/Disabled/Super
(Note that the mockup description for "Resize Windows" calls it the "window modifier key".)
