clipboard is very unreliable under wayland
The clipboard is very hit-and-miss with gnome terminal under wayland. I often have issues pasting things in the terminal from other applications where the terminal will use old data rather than the current clipboard.
I mostly see if with the selection clipboard (middle click), but it also happens with the normal clipboard now and then.
Opening a gedit window and pasting the data works fine, so it's just gnome terminal that has issues.
To fix the issue I have to update the clipboard in gnome terminal. I.e. Ctrl+Shift+C (or select something depending on which clipboard is affected). It doesn't help in any way to update the clipboard in other applications. Gnome terminal will stubbornly insist it still owns the clipboard anyway.
Tested with gedit and firefox (both in Wayland mode) as the source of clipboard data.
