Description
It would be great to be able to select a text file and to dump its contents into the terminal, much like zMUD and other terminal emulators allow to do. The main use: scripts!
When I am connected to a remote system it's important to be able to quickly execute scripts without having to copy and paste them.
If this is ever implemented, the ability to specify a prefix string and a postfix string, like zMUD allows, would be excellent. What I mean is that if a file that I want to dump into the terminal has only commands, then I could enter " &" as a postfix string and each command would be executed in the background. Basically, this feature would append (and prepend) each line of the dumped file with the necessary strings without having to modify the file itself.
