Open in Terminal does not use x-terminal-emulator setting; always opens in GNOME Terminal
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: No – because it looks like the ability to open a folder in Terminal was removed (?)
- Other: 3.34.1-stable
Steps to reproduce
- Right click on a folder in the breadcrumbs or in the main files pane
- Select Open in Terminal
Current behavior
The folder opens in GNOME Terminal.
Expected behavior
The folder should open in the default terminal as set by x-terminal-emulator
Additional information
If it’s true that the ability to open a folder from Files in terminal is removed in the latest nightly, this is quite a loss of functionality. Especially since I don’t see any terminals listed under Open With Other Application either even after selecting View All Applications (which doesn’t remember its toggle state between launches in the current Nightly).
