Request: Allow the user to decide how to show digital orders of magnitude in gnome-system-monitor
Hi all,
I was a bit puzzled when I checked my file-system via gnome-system-monitor today. It showed me 421.7 GB. But this was way too much, it could not be correct. So I checked with mate-system-monitor and this one showed me 392.7 GiB. Which is about the expected size.
A closer look then revealed what was going on and actually both tools are correct. But Gnome uses the decimal order of magnitude, whereas Mate uses the (in my opinion correct) digital order of magnitude -> GB != GiB.
I'd like to have Gnome\s system monitor behave like Mate's version but I did not find anything applicable in dconf (/org/gnome/gnome-system-monitor/) or the general preferences.
But it should be possible to change this, shouldn't it?
