System Monitor on Fedora 38 always opens new instance [BUG]
Greetings,
Using Gnome System Monitor v44.0 on Fedora 38 and the issue I've come across is that every time I open Monitor from the dock, it opens up another new instance of System Monitor. I have Monitor pinned in my dock, however, every time I try to open it, a new icon outside of my pinned dock icon is created. I can't pin this new instance of Monitor, only quit it or show "App Details" which just takes me to the Gnome Software and throws up an error saying this package doesn't not exist. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling System Monitor, but the error persists unfortunately.
To properly demonstrate the bug that I've come across I made a short 30 second video, in which I can reproduce the problem 100% of the time. I'm not sure if this is some syslink issue or some dependencies issue, but if you need any more information from me, please feel free to ask, I am more than willing and happy to help in whatever ways I can.
Also, when I check Gnome logs, I get the following error, note the time frame at the top at 10:38PM when I opened System Monitor:
When I select the top error code from the logs, this is the message it shows in full:
Sender: gnome-system-monitor
Time: 10:38PM
Message: glibtop(c=14180): [WARNING] statvfs '/run/user/1000/doc' failed: Operation not permitted
Audit Session: 3
Priority: 6
If by chance this is not a System Monitor bug, but instead a gnome-shell bug, please let me know so I can file the bug correctly elsewhere if need be.
