Description
Gnome applications usually have a simple interface for handling specific tasks, however, in the case of gnome-sound-recorder it is complex and presents some configuration options.
Example: • Basic options within a preferences dialog availability vs the naked eye (headerbar) • A list of audio formats with undefined quality
Proposal: Move audio options to a button on the headerbar that allows you to quickly change the audio mode (mono and stereo) and audio quality, classified an easily understandable by the user:
- High Fidelity - Flac with high bitrate (wav)
- High (músic) - Vorbis/Opus with 192/256 kbps (AAC)
- Moderate (conferences) - Vorbis/Opus with 160/128 kbps (AAC)
- Basic (voice notes) - Vorbis/Opus with 80/64 kbps (AAC)
Popover:
-----------^----------- |
---|
------------------- |
[ ] High fidelity |
[ ] High |
[ ] Moderate |
[x] Basic |
