Description
After following the instructions at: https://blogs.gnome.org/hughsie/2016/04/20/upgrading-fedora-23-to-24-using-gnome-software/ I clicked to download the new update
The update didn't work after a reboot (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1375143) so I updated fedora-relase manually. After this, I clicked to do the upgrade once more. After authentication, nothing happened when it should have rebooted to update. Instead there was this in the logs: Sep 12 11:43:47 classic polkitd[890]: Operator of unix-session:1 successfully authenticated as unix-user:hadess to gain ONE-SHOT authorization for action org.freedesktop.packagekit.trigger-offline-upgrade for system-bus-name::1.73 [/usr/bin/gnome-software --gapplication-service] (owned by unix-user:hadess) Sep 12 11:43:47 classic gnome-software-service.desktop[1894]: (gnome-software:1894): Gs-WARNING **: failed to call gs_plugin_app_upgrade_trigger on systemd-updates: GDBus.Error:org.gtk.GDBus.UnmappedGError.Quark._pk_2dengine_2derror_2dquark.Code1: Prepared update not found: /var/lib/PackageKit/prepared-upgrade Sep 12 11:43:47 classic gnome-software-service.desktop[1894]: (gnome-software:1894): Gs-WARNING **: not saving error for org.fedoraproject.release-25.upgrade: GDBus.Error:org.gtk.GDBus.UnmappedGError.Quark._pk_2dengine_2derror_2dquark.Code1: Prepared update not found: /var/lib/PackageKit/prepared-upgrade Sep 12 11:43:47 classic gnome-software-service.desktop[1894]: (gnome-software:1894): Gs-WARNING **: Failed to trigger offline update: no plugin could handle gs_plugin_app_upgrade_trigger
