Erroneous "Failed Update" to due d-bus timeout on boot
On my non-SSD system, the whole computer takes a little while to become responsive on boot. This results in D-Bus requests that GNOME Software makes to time out and it then pops an erroneous "failed to update" notification.
This time, it seems that the fwupd request failed and I get this one:
Detailed errors from the package manager follow:
Error calling StartServiceByName for org.freedesktop.fwupd: Timeout was reached
But I'm pretty sure I saw packagekit requests failing in other cases.
In any case, I guess that on boot, the timeout should either be a lot longer (in the order of 5 minutes!). Or you need some kind of logic to retry on timeouts. And it should certainly not show a "failed up update" dialog on timeouts.
