Quit when inactive
In https://github.com/hughsie/PackageKit/commit/0c84d71509e851db20445c747529bd7d3724f081, we changed PackageKit to shut down when inactive in order to reduce overall GNOME session memory usage. However, GNOME Software itself still runs constantly in the background. (If it's supposed to shut down, that is not working.) On my machine it's using 278 MiB of RAM, which is significant. We've been receiving user complaints for years.
Can we turn off GNOME Software after a couple minutes of inactivity?
