reboot management (in general but specifically for rpm-ostree)
Background: enhance gnome-software's support/UI for rpm-ostree automatic updates.
There was a lot of discussion in that issue - one of the biggest questions is whether g-s tells rpm-ostree to update, or whether it does it automatically. I lean a bit more towards the latter now actually, although perhaps we should support the former for various reasons like metered data, etc.
Regardless though, we need a better UI around reboot management. I'd like to have support for automatically rebooting when an update is pending - maybe something like what iOS does with scheduling it for the middle of the night when on AC power, etc.
Just like for auto-update downloading, I am leaning a bit towards rpm-ostree growing a "basic" automatic reboot policy engine - we want it for headless (e.g. IoT) cases too. Then g-s could simply show a UI around that - but it could obviously take over the role as well.
