Installing new software causes "Loading application details" on app details, and all overview listings to go blank or to go to spinner
Installing new software feels like it should be trivially minor state change, which shouldn't cause any computation time just to determine that the software is now indeed installing. If I click "Install", it's obvious the software is now installing and no further immediate change will be caused, other than the progress needs to be displayed. And if the exact progress bar needs time then a spinner just for the progress or detail state could be used.
Instead however, in practice the installation or update or removal seems to be a super major disruptive change that often causes all search lists to blank, all detail views of applications to blank and show "Loading application details" and to make the entire GNOME Software completely unbrowsable for multiple minutes quite often. This is so weird, as if I had nuked the entire database and was reloading it in full which seems baffling for a seemingly small state change that shouldn't affect any of the available software to such a dramatic extent. (Even if for some architectural reason behind the scenes it unavoidably would, then why not show the old listings and just disable the install/remove buttons until that is sorted out and what exactly is available is updated?)
Seen on software version: gnome-software 41.9
Seen on Linux distribution: Any version of Fedora I've used until weeks ago, as well as currently openSUSE Leap 15.5
Seen with package type: seems to happen with both native OS packages and flatpaks
Seen how often: pretty much guaranteed to happen whenever I click an update, install, or remove button
