Feature request: Allow setting global priority of Flatpak repos
The issue:
Currently, user-generated preferences for Software repository priority is nebulous and obscured by Gsettings. It would be nice if some UI were included under Advanced Settings in Software's Preferences to allow users to easily re-order their software repository priorities. I know of a couple people who would prefer to have Flathub as their default, for instance, and it would be nice if the Software app supported this preference.
Change requested:
It would be nice if, in Preferences, we had a list of Flatpak repos which could be re-ordered, or a simple dropdown menu to select the primary one. This would be nice, because currently, the user can't easily control the behaviour of the repos.
Basically, I'd like Settings to have a GUI config for org.gnome.software packaging-format-preference
.
This was the default option, even though Flathub tends to be more up-to-date and maintained by the official app developers.
