Confusing messages when installing firmware updates
With some firmware updates, when I click Update, I get 3 things:
- A notification - "An update has been installed, a restart is required for it to take effect"
- A message dialog - "Thinkpad X1 Nano Gen 2 Device Update, Do not turn off your computer or remove the AC adapter..." - with an OK button
- A 2nd message dialog, beneath the first - "Prepare Thinkpad X1 Nano Gen 2 Device Update, Do not turn off your computer or remove the AC adapter" - with a cancel and insensitive Install button
Obvious issues here:
- There are 3 messages - there should only be 1
- The messages are contradictory
- The install button on the 2nd message dialog is always insensitive - I can never install
- After I restart, the update is still listed, so presumably the notification is incorrect
Running gnome-software 44. on Fedora 38. Device is a Thinkpad X1 Nano Gen 2.
