Description
When opening Gnome Software, the probability that:
- I know already the application I want to install, and
- The application is listed on the welcome page is extremely low. In the very vast majority of cases happening to me, or that I can imagine for other users, the main action a user wants to do after opening Software is to actually search for the right software. In order to better anticipate the typical usage and save user some clicks, the Search bar should then be enabled by default, and be given keyboard focus so the next typing events directly go to this search bar.
