Warn user aggressively when current release reaches end of life
Hi, currently when a newer OS version is available, Software notifies the user once per week suggesting to upgrade. Unfortunately, many users ignore this for so long that their OS reaches end of life and stops receiving updates. Such users often do not realize that their system is no longer secure.
Enhancement request: check /etc/os-release for the SUPPORT_END
key and, if present, warn the user once per day that the system is no longer secure and must be upgraded. CC @bertob and @aday
