Shell search provider is extremely CPU heavy (gs_flatpak_search)

Fresh GNOME OS install on physical hardware, type a couple characters into the search box.

Roughly 15% of system time is spent on Flatpak search of appstream data. Consider that the system is simultaneously dealing with 2 Nautilus coredumps doing zstd compression and it's still 15%, meaning the nominal overhead is considerably higher.

This combined with similar issues in clocks and characters makes the initial experience quite dismal.
