GNOME Software sometimes hangs on Loading Updates...

Sometimes gnome-software keeps trying to load updates forever, without finishing, I see Loading Updates.. and a spinning spinner.

Distribution:

Fedora 36, rpm, dnf, flatpak.gnome-software.x86_64 42.1-1.fc36

I have seen this issue also in older versions and reported it before here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2060811

In my journal I see this line:

not handling error download-failed for action unknown: Error resolving “sdk.gnome.org”: Name or service not known
