Reviews: voting yes/no scrolls user back to top of review list

  1. Please describe the issue you’re experiencing:

While browsing through application reviews, if one scrolls down at all and then votes Yes or No to the "Was this review useful to you?" question, the list is abruptly scrolled to the top. That's annoying, even when the list is small; at most the question area should

  • disappear smoothly;
  • at best, it should remain, with either Yes or No highlighted as having been chosen, giving a user the possibility to revert a vote, with rate-limiting server side; And the list should remain scrolled where it originally was when the user voted.
  1. What Linux distribution are you using, and what kind of package (RPM, deb, flatpak, etc.) are you experiencing the problem with?
  • Fedora 36 Workstation, fully up to date as of 25 May 2022
  • GNOME Software 42.1 (the one that comes with the distribution)
