New & Updated apps are not actually new

These are the new & updated apps in Software in my GNOME OS VM (ran flatpak update earlier today):

These are the actual most recently updated apps on Flathub (the only remote configured in Software currently):

The apps appearing in Software all seem to have last been updated weeks ago (e.g. Markets on Jan 17, Decoder on Jan 16, ASHPD on Jan 25), and they're not sorted by most recent update date.

I'm not sure what's happening here, but ideally the list should be up to date with the remote and sorted most recently to least recently updated.
