Revisit error display

I'm still encountering a lot of errors like this, which make the app look bad even if the error is not Software's fault:

  • The in-app notification is huge which looks bad visually, and makes errors seem more scary than necessary
  • The content is completely incomprehensible even to somewhat technical users
  • The close button is misaligned

I get the need to give people access to debug information, but it should really not happen inside the actual in-app notification. Could we perhaps show just a short, more approachable error message in the notification and then have a button to open a dialog with the full technical details?

For example something like:

Repository Error [ Details ] (x)
