Hang while installing Flatpak app
- Installed version:
gnome-software-41.0-5.fc35.x86_64
- Platform: Fedora 35 Beta (Workstation Edition)
Installing a Flatpak app causes Software to hang, and this hang prevents the app from being installed.
Steps:
- Search for a new Flatpak app (in my case, Steam)
- Ensure the system Flatpak repo is selected (not sure if the user installation hits this bug)
- Click "Install"
- Wait
Results: After nearly an hour of waiting, the Software window remains stuck on "Loading application details...", and the app isn't installed (it can't be found by searching for it on the Overview, and it can't be run in a terminal with flatpak run
).
Meanwhile, installing the same app from a terminal with flatpak install
succeeds in just a few seconds.
