[Feature Request] ^Q to quit gnome-software
I don't think I need further explanation, but here goes nothing.
Shortcuts rock because they're short and you don't need external input device. Sadly, there are a few shortcuts that are not very easy at hand, and Alt + F4 which is used extensively on Windows is one of them. There are a couple of reasons behind this: because F4 is an optional key, not everyone has it and that the Alt key has little to do with exiting a program.
Gnome and its friends, most renown being Apple's OS X have a better keybinding system: Ctrl + Q. It's mnemonic (Q for Quit) on top of solving the two problems of Alt + F4, as well as being usable alongside Alt + F4. I've heard in some documentation some group of professional people decided to name such combination of letters to input certain signals ^V and so on, thus to look professional, I decided to use the term ^Q to call for this behaviour.
It's sad to see that gnome-software does not follow this "better"
Other Gnome apps such as Calendar implement this feature. Now it's your turn. Make ^Q close down gnome-software.
Note: gnome-software already has such combination shortcut using the Ctrl key: that is, ^F to open up search bar.
I feel like I've issued something similar. Maybe it's just me. I'm being careless for not checking if there's a similar issue. I should be condemned. KILL ME (but not with -9 please)
