It turned out that this wasn't easy, as there was no graphical way to do so, so I had to use apt-cache to search for the package name and uninstall it.
The thing is, I installed the .deb file using Software, and not being able to remove software they installed graphically could be frustrating to less experienced users.
The reason the application wasn't shown when I searched for it, nor when I right-clicked the launcher and clicked "show details" was probably that the .deb file is missing an icon and other (appstream) metadata that would make Software recognise it as an application (rather than a library or some other kind of package). Now, apt (and I suppose also other package managers) know the difference between user-installed packages and dependencies (this way, for example, `apt autoremove` works).
I propose showing user-installed packages in Software, no matter if their metadata makes them recognisable as applications. Because if a package is user-installed, that means the user knows about the package and won't be confused by it when they find its name popping up in Software.
Update: I thought about it, and maybe relying on the user-installed information of the system's package manager is not such a good idea. It might lead to confusion, e. g. when a user searches for "git" in Software, and then realises that Software only displays graphical apps. Then they install it via apt. But later that they, they find it in Software. That might be confusing as well. So maybe Software should instead keep an own list about package files that were installed through it (because any package file that has been installed using Software, graphical app or not, should be removable using Software).https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/-/issues/2065Gnome software displaying wrong info for package2023-03-01T10:28:39ZMikeTangoGnome software displaying wrong info for packageHi,

I have the following example file:

This is a little examples which contains just 2 images from Wikipedia for testing reasons.
If I view it with:
```
gnome-software --show-metainfo=org.example.App.metainfo.xml
```
As I have A German System, I see the second Image.
Now I try to view it in English:
```
LC_ALL=C gnome-software --show-metainfo=org.example.App.metainfo.xml
```
The User interface of Gnome Software is now in English, but it still shows the second Image, which is marked as the German translation.
