Does not wake up when using external GPU via Thunderbolt 3
Hi Guys ..
The issue I am running into occurs when using any GNOME based Linux distribution that uses External GPU via Thunderbolt 3. I have tried Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 18.10, Pop_OS!, Manjaro, Antergos. The system, when goes to sleep / turns off monitors after specified delay; doesn't wake up or turns on the monitors when you press keys or move mouse. The only way to regain access is rebooting the system.
I have Intel Hades Canyon NUC, connected to Sonnet eGPU which has AMD Radeon Pro 9100 GPU inside. There are 3 monitors and all 3 are connected to eGPU. I am not sure where I can locate any logs for this issue. But I will be more than happy to gather if you can provide me some direction. Please note that the same System works without any issues (wake up from sleep) if I am using KDE or Cinnamon. I have tried KDE Neon and Linux Mint 19.1
Thank you for your help.
