Make the touchpad gestures fluent (switching desktops, overview) (something like macOS and Windows on precision touchpads)
Hello All.
Currently, on Wayland, since GNOME 3.18, GNOME has implemented touchpad gestures of 3 finger pinch in to the Activities Overview, and 4 finger up/down to get to a virtual desktop. The issue is, all these gestures aren't fluent, and just do the action like a keyboard shortcut, in one task after completing the gesture. Is there anyway the gesture can be made fluent like Apple's MacOS and Windows on precision touchpads (like Acer laptops, and MS Surface)? In that, the desktops move as per how slow/fast the user slides their fingers on the touchpad. Something like that in GNOME would make it a very unique gem, which currently only GNOME and Plasma can even think of possibly achieving (thanks to Wayland
Thanks!
(This is my first issue on GitLab so please do correct me if I did something wrong
