Split windows show artifacts
Hi,
Lately I have been noticing that split windows (windows that are sent to one side of the screen either by dragging them or using a keyboard shortcut) show artifacts to the point where I cannot read the text in them anymore. At first this only happened to Chrome, so I wrote it off as a Chrome bug (Chrome has been misbehaving on Wayland for me lately, so I'm using it without its workarounds to solve that. I thought this was a side-effect). However, just now it also happened to Emacs, so I thought I should report this bug.
I have not tested this on X.Org yet due to a lack of time at the moment. My GNOME Shell version is 3.28.2, with mutter 3.28.2. I can usually trigger this by splitting Chrome and another window (e.g. Emacs) and then making one side smaller and the other bigger. Re-splitting them to 50/50 makes the artifacts go away again most of the time. If not, fullscreening the application does fix it.
