Inaccurate on-screen keyboard touch events in Hebrew layout
I've found that certain non-alphabetical keys on the Hebrew on-screen keyboard are not functioning, or are sending the wrong key events. Specifically:
Backspacekeys do not result in an action. Note that a touch event does happen - I can see the button's colour change momentarily to indicate being pressed
- When using the "Input languages" pop-up - once "Hebrew" is pressed, it automatically results in an additional unintended printout of
ת. I believe this has to do with the fact these characters are "underneath" the language selection pop-up menu, depending on the layout at the time
- Later (and more importantly), selecting "English" from the same pop-up results in an unintended
Enterevent - which can potentially submit form fields, for example.
- ALL alphabet keys and
-trigger the correct characters
Note that the keyboard layout is correct.
I've tested this on the default theme and experienced the same behaviour. The English keyboard works flawlessly.
