If laptop is suspended via touchscreen, "Suspend" option from quick settings does not work when tapped with touchpad after resume

I use gnome-shell 1:45.0-1 on Arch Linux running on a laptop with a touchscreen. I can reproduce this bug on Wayland session, even with another user account without any Shell extension.

If laptop is suspended via touchscreen, "Suspend" option from quick settings does not work when tapped with touchpad after resume
Steps to reproduce
- start Wayland session
- suspend the laptop to RAM via quick settings using a touchscreen
- resume the laptop
- try to suspend to RAM again, but using the touchpad this time
What happened
"Suspend" option from the quick settungs does not react to a tap with the touchpad. The"Suspend" option works if tapped with the touchscreen instead.
What did you expect to happen
"Suspend" option should always work with any input device.
