Allow inputting trackpad gestures with a mouse
Feature summary
GNOME currently supports multiple track-pad gestures. By swiping with 3 fingers on the track-pad you can switch workspaces and bring up the activities and applications screens.
Some mice, such as the Logitech MX Master 3 have a gesture button. Moving the mouse while holding a gesture button held should behave as if the movement of the mouse was the movement of 3 fingers on a track-pad. i.e. moving the mouse to the side while keeping the gesture button held swipes between workspaces.
How would you like it to work
GNOME would probably need a new setting to set the gesture key/button (I'm not aware of any standardized keycode or similar for gesture keys).

On Mac OS X supports this feature, though I couldn't find any official documentation on it.
