After upgrading to GNOME Shell 43.2, USB sound card's output are no longer shown in the quick access menu
Affected version
Arch Linux, GNOME 43.2.
Bug summary
Starts from GNOME Shell 43 I could switch sound output device in quick access menu, but after upgrading to GNOME 43.2, it no longer shows my USB sound card and S/PDIF output, only DP/HDMI output is shown. I usually switch between USB sound card's earphone and monitor's DP output, now I cannot do this.
I am using PipeWire, however I checked the sound panel of Settings, it shows all 4 output devices, so I consider this a GNOME Shell bug.
Steps to reproduce
- Have different sound output device, I have DP monitor and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 USB sound card.
- Try to switch sound output device in quick access menu.
What happened
I cannot see my sound card.
What did you expect to happen
