Lock screen clock not centered when using a 12 hour / AM/PM clock
If you use a 12 hour or AM/PM clock, the lock screen clock is sometimes misaligned with respect to the date below it - it's not centered. I've noticed this problem on several distributions so far, using both the default font (Cantarell) and with other fonts as well.
Affected version
OS: Fedora Linux 37 (Workstation Edition) (also noticed it on Ubuntu 22.10) GNOME version: GNOME 43.1 Windowing system: Wayland
Bug summary
When using a 12 hour or AM/PM clock, the clock on the lock screen will be off-center. The 24 hour clock is centered, as are the date and the "Click or press a key to unlock" message.
Steps to reproduce
- Enable AM/PM under Time Format (Settings --> Date & Time --> Time Format)
- Lock the screen
What happened
The lock screen clock wasn't centered, but the date was.
What did you expect to happen
Both the time and the date should be centered.
