Quick settings: Wired network button doesn't have any text

When I use a wired connection, the quick settings toggle doesn't contain any text:

The connection itself is via a Thinkpad ethernet adapter.

This issue could be a duplicate of #5884 (closed), though the behaviour is a bit different in this case: for me, the toggle never has any text.

nmcli lists the ethernet connection as:

I'm using GNOME 43 and Fedora 37.
