App grid: 6x4 grid on first page, 7x3 grid on second page (on 4:3 and 3:2 ratios)
After the !2335 (merged) merge, my app grid uses a 6x4 layout. I use GNOME with a Surface Laptop Go. It has a resolution of 1536x1024 (3:2 aspect ratio). However, once I create a second page, the grid switches to 7x3. Older builds of GNOME always used the 7x3 grid.
This happens because the arrows take up more space when shown. It also messes with the icon sizes. Perhaps there's a way for the arrows to not interrupt the size of the grid? The sudden shift in arrangement is unpredictable.
Other resolutions with this issue:
- 1024x768 (4:3)
