Bluetooth is absent from the Gnome upper-right-corner drop-down menu if it's off

On a new install of Manjaro Gnome 42.3.1 Bluetooth is absent from the Gnome upper-right-corner drop-down menu if it's off. This did not use to be the case before Gnome 42. What is the purpose of this change? It's very inconvenient, because now to enable Bluetooth one has to go to the settings instead of doing it straight in the drop-down menu, as is the case with, e.g., WiFi.
