Window snapping does not restore to the window's original size
Description of problem: If you unsnap gtk windows with keyboard shortcuts the window will restore slightly smaller than the size at which it began.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora 28, gnome 3.28.3
How reproducible: Every time, for any application that uses gtk. (For example, chrome is not affected)
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open any program (terminal is best example)
- Press Super + right/left
- Press Super + down (to restore the window)
- Repeat Steps 2 and 3 over and over
Actual results:
You will notice that the window will slowly lose vertical size until you just have a titlebar.
Expected results:
I expect the Window to always restore to it's original size after restoring (unsnapping) it from a screen edge.
It if doesn't restore to a small size, the other outcome is that gnome gets confused and doesn't shrink it at all when un-snapping the window.
Additional info:
Pretty stock gnome configuration. I only have dash2dock enabled.
