Also reported here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2099870
[mfabian@fedora ~]$ rpm -q ibus-anthy ibus-anthy-1.5.14-4.fc36.x86_64 [mfabian@fedora ~]$ rpm -q ibus ibus-1.5.26-10.fc36.x86_64 [mfabian@fedora ~]$ rpm -q gnome-shell gnome-shell-42.2-2.fc36.x86_64 [mfabian@fedora ~]$ cat /etc/fedora-release Fedora release 36 (Thirty Six) [mfabian@fedora ~]$
Same on Gnome Wayland and Gnome Xorg
- Activate the on-screen keyboard in the gnome-control-center
- Select ibus-anthy in the Gnome Panel
- Type Alt+F2 to open the “Run a Command” dialog -> The on-screen keyboard opens now
- Type 'a' on the on-screen keyboard.
- Type space on the on-screen keyboard to trigger conversion to Kanji
- Candidates are now shown at the top of the on-screen keyboard.
- Try to select candidates with the mouse. -> Doesn't work, the preedit in the “Run a Command” dialog remains unchanged, when clicking several candidates, the background behind all these candidates turns gray
