Bug summary

When recording with screencast it records only for one second. to be precise it doesnt stop recording unless I hit stop but the rendered video has a one second animation and the rest of the time is one frozen frame.

Steps to reproduce

  1. start recording
  2. record 5seconds then stop
  3. open the video

What happened

you notice that only the first second is played then the rest of time is filled with the same frozen frame.

What did you expect to happen

render the whole recorded video.

Relevant logs, screenshots, screencasts etc.

Here is a video where it only rendred the first second, you can see the rest is just the same frozen frame. Screencast_from_06-17-2022_07_37_50_PM

Workaround:

Downgrade pipewire-gstreamer

sudo dnf install pipewire-gstreamer-0.3.49-1.fc36
