Scrolling inside calendar widget in notification area shrinks notification popup
Affected version
- OS: Arch Linux (Up to date) with the base
gnome-shell
package - Shell version: 42.0
- Display server: Wayland
- Display: 1920x1080
Bug summary
When you open up the notification area and scroll horizontally over the calendar widget, it scrolls through the months (works fine). When you open up the notification area and scroll vertically up on the calendar widget, it shrinks. The notification area needs to be freshly opened and nothing else can be scrolled prior to this. It's pretty inconsistent and I don't know precisely what triggers it.
Steps to reproduce
- Open up the notification area;
- (Sometimes I needed to scroll in an empty left side to get this to trigger, so no notifications);
- Scroll vertically in the calendar side of the notification area;
- Repeat until it shrinks (I sometimes have to try a couple of times to trigger this bug).
What happened
The background kind of pops up to about half the original size, but all the widgets stay in their positions.
What did you expect to happen
To scroll through the months.
