Gnome Screencast: Indicator shows up and vanishes, no video created

Bug summary
After starting a screencast, the indicator shows up for approx. half a second and then vanishes. No video is created.
Steps to reproduce
- Press 'PrintScreen'.
- Click on camera symbol.
- Click on red circle to start the screencast.
What happened
The screencast window disappears, an indicator in the top right of the screen appears shortly and vanishes within half a second. No video is created.
What did you expect to happen
That the indicator stays, a video is created and can be stopped by the indicator.
