Shift+PrtScr stopped to work in GNOME 42~beta
Affected version
- Fedora 37
- gnome-shell-42~beta-2.fc37
- Wayland (did not test X.org)
Bug summary
I've upgraded to the GNOME 42.beta from whatever was previously available in Rawhide and I noticed that screenshot experience is quite different (in good sense). Alt+PrtScr and PrtScr work just fine, but Shift+PrtScr does not do anything.
Steps to reproduce
- Press Shift and PrtScr
What happened
Nothing.
What did you expect to happen
Good old prompt to select area for the screenshot (but not having to click any buttons to actually take a screenshot).
Relevant logs, screenshots, screencasts etc.
I could provide video from the phone but I suppose it is not really useful in this case. In the logs I did not notice anything. If you have any hints what to enable/disable to debug this further, would be happy to test.
