Bug summary
When using a voice channel on Discord for over 6-24 hours on any distribution that uses GNOME Shell (particularly GNOME Shell Version 3.36.9, though GNOME 40 and later haven't been tested yet), the text will vanish from the desktop environment until the session is logged off and logged back on. I've also heard that it occurs on the Cinnamon desktop environment too, which I've also posted about the bug report comment on their Github here
Steps to reproduce
- Open Discord app
- Enter into any voice channel on Discord and just stay there for a day, it may range from 30 minutes to 24 hours for it to occur.
What happened
The text vanishes from the desktop environment and/or other graphical errors occur, and the GNOME settings app crashes upon attempting to open.
What did you expect to happen
The text shouldn't vanish from the desktop environment and it shouldn't cause any graphical issues. Instead, if anything stops working, it should reload! And GNOME Settings app should open without any problems instead of crashing upon opening.
