Show dash on moving cursor to the bottom.
Feature summary
Accessing the dash with mouse much less intuitive now . Hot corner is on top left(and then we have to move the cursor all the way to bottom ) and for simple window switching , going to the application overview to change the window seems too much because it can totally take the user out of focus .
How would you like it to work
I can understand that gnome wants to stay out of the way . So this is another way in which I think the dash could be more useful and at the same time , stay out of the way .
My suggestion is more closer to a dash to dock with hide option . Show the dash when the cursor is moved to the bottom . But here it would be hidden even if there is no fullscreen window or windows that go above it . In that way ,the dash will stay out of the way of the user and only comes up when needed.
Also the Activities overvew are not shown when the dash is visible . Because when we present the user with Activities overview when all he wants is to switch to a window can be really confusing .
Also a shortcut is set to show the dash only so that keyboard users will be able to make use of this (example : super + T (T for tasks ),or any other )
Also another thing is to include a few settings like isolate workspaces , dock size , etc in the gnome tweaks or inside the settings.
