Rethink name of "Activities" button (why not e.g. "Overview"?)

Sorry if I bother you but, while you are working on the new Gnome 40 design, I wanted to comment on the naming of the "activities" button. I never understood the reasoning behind this naming. I know it can be overwritten by themes, but the default actually matters. "Activities" is not a very common term in the software world to my knowledge, applications or apps is more used. I think that if Gnome wants to attract new users, its design and conventions should make sense to what most people are used to, that is Windows and MacOS. Why not calling this button "overview"? Because this is what you get, an overview of your work-spaces, opened windows and applications to be launched. Alternatively, you could just use a logo without a word. Please let me know what you think, I will be interested to understand what you have in mind. All the best.
