Animated background/wallpaper (changing over time) causes freeze in interface and system

Not occurs with driver proprietary of Nvidia.

Bug summary

Bug detected when changing the wallpaper that changes throughout the day. This occurred on several Linux distributions that have a version higher than 3.36.

Steps to reproduce

I try to change the wallpaper to the wallpaper that changes throughout the day and the interface freezes, on the nouveau and nvidia GeForce 310M and can occur on other devices.

What happened

The interface freeze the moment it was changed to dynamic wallpaper.

What did you expect to happen

There is no total system freeze on Wayland and the interface freezes on xorg still responding to the keyboard. Considered abnormal behavior, shouldn't happen. In version 3.30 I confirm that this feature works correctly.
