RShift + LShift works together with LAlt + LShift to switch language layout
Steps to reproduce:
- Have default Ubuntu 20.04 LTS installed
- Configure two keyboard layouts - English and Russian
- Configure
<LeftAlt>+<LeftShift>
as keyboard layout switcher in GNOME Tweaks 4a. Press and hold<RightShift>
, then do multiple click on<LeftShift>
4b. Press and hold<LeftShift>
, then do multiple click on<RightShift>
Expected results:
- nothing, keyboard layout does not change
Actual results:
- keyboard layout changes as when
<LeftAlt>+<LeftShift>
was clicked
