Dismissing the screensaver via keyboard should not go through to the top level application
Affected version
- Fedora 32
- Gnome 3.36.3
Bug summary
When the lock screen is fading in (= the screen gets dark) you can dismiss the lock screen by having some kind of interaction with an input device, e.g. moving the mouse or hitting some key. However, this input, e.g. hitting the space bar, should not go through to the top level application.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Firefox with YouTube and select a video of your choice
- Pause this video
- Wait for the lock screen to fade in (=the screen gets darkened)
- Hit the space bar
What happened
The lock screen gets dismissed and the video starts playing because the key stroke goes through to the application.
