Ability to disable keyboard layout change popup
Feature summary
Currently, when We use a hotkey to switch the keyboard layout, a popup screen appears momentarily. This feature appears useful at first, but will get annoying in several ways over time:
- It can steal focus from some badly designed software...I'm specifically talking about whatsapp web. In search (in all chats, the textbox in upper-left of whatsapp web), if you change the keyboard layout, the focus will no longer return the where it was. For anyone who changes between languages frequently (I do like 1000 times a day, 40 of them might be in this textbox) this can get super annoying
- It can steal away a few of your next keystrokes. This is also very annoying.
I've seen reports of both observations over the internet, so I'm not alone in this.
How would you like it to work
Please put down a setting, even if it's in tweak or dconf-editor, to disable this popup. Please ask any heavy language switcher. I cannot imagine a fast typer and language switcher to enjoy this popup

Please, please please, Gnome is very useful, it's the closest we've ever been to an open-source desktop that everyone can use, EXCEPT the options that it intentionally and deliberately taken away from the users.
