Notification should not disappear immediately after focus
Often I will get an email notification, and as I move the cursor to close it I will accidentally drag the cursor out of focus. As a result, the notification immediately disappears into the panel, from where I now have to close it manually.
Another occurence is when I drag the cursor towards the notification, accidentally overshoot and land on the top panel by 1 pixel. The notification closes immediately, before I manage to act on it(read it, click it, etc). Now I have to go into the panel to do that.
Both of these cases create 2 extra clicks(into the panel, and then click on notification), which break me out of the flow of whatever I was doing before.
An easy fix for it would be to wait for 0.5-1.5 seconds after losing focus before the notification moves to the panel, and if notification is focused again, then the timer will reset.
Some people might use the current flow to immediately dismiss a notification into the panel and read it later. A solution to this is to choose a short buffer time of 0.5-1.5 seconds, which is enough to focus back on notification if you lose focus, and not long enough to be inconvenient to those who want to dismiss it quickly.
EDIT: OS is Fedora with Gnome 3.36 and x11
