Allow to disable the "App not responding" dialog feature
There are several reasons why this dialog can be problematic. Some applications report their status wrong. Sometimes the dialog gets annoying while developing and debugging applications.
So far you just have to live with it or hack the Gnome sources to not display the dialog at all.
There are valid reasons why someone may not want to have this feature at all, so I think it should be possible to opt out of this.
I'm not requesting some GUI for this as maybe it could confuse some users, but I think there should be at least some "gconf hack" to tell Gnome "I don't want and don't need these dialogs and never want to seem them again".
